I liked at once your way of starting the chapter: the process of gathering evidence will be lengthy [it is, usually!] and so it could be almost a year before the trial begins. Good narrative style here. Vittbug will not be bailed out either. Pity! They suspect something underhanded or otherwise corrupt. The retort about "low-life scum being jealous" rings a bell. It shows your wit very nicely. I should like to see more but even my work is bit truncated lately. A very entertaining chapter all the same and I am pleased to share it.
