The Mist House
From Lovecraft’s “Strange High House in the Mist”

High up out of view
Half obscured by the mist
There stands a house of two floors
Empty and silent as a tomb
Surveyors came and went
Buyers ran away in awe
Nobody bought or rented the place
Until even today

In the town below
They mutter rumors of haunted halls
And strange shapes dancing in the mist
An unearthly ballet
To the music of the spheres
Free verse poem from Lovecraft's story and delice1941's haiku, about a strange haunted mist-enshrouded house.
