The Howling

Inspired by The Black Cat by Edgar Allen Poe

Alas! I could hardly sleep a wink

For so many nights.

I had to lie wake all night to think

And something gave me a fright.

I lay upon my bed,

Sure that Morgana was already dead;

At last, i realized that it was not right.

For as I lay awake to ponder

A low somber feline howl from yonder

In the tomb did reach my ears

I sat upright in my bed

What frightful fantasies played in my head!

I saw a ghostly, ghastly cat

Crawl towards me. It came so near!

That single vision of feline fright

Kept me awake throughout those nights.

Thriller about a black cat. Morgana is the feline.
