Pardon My Misdeeds
Miskatonic University arranges an Outreach with strange results

Arthur C. Kraven had been employed by Miskatonic University to perform local and in-state outreach about various subjects. Secretly he had probed the writings of the Necronomicon and the related spells. When he began the outreach in mid-October that year, he had concealed the tome in his possessions and stepped forth.
Then he began to search for subjects for his spells. Within the first ten days, most persons he contacted were obviously unfamiliar with the university. Naturally nobody knew much about Necronomicon either. Then, after two days more, he received notice by someone he never met before but showed vivid interest in both things. Kraven was thrilled and agreed to let the visitor assist him.

The stranger was a rather stark character. A short, darkly dressed man with an aged look and a tall top hat that made Kraven think of undertakers.

"Begging your pardon, friend, but are you or have you been an undertaker?"
The stranger chuckled for a second and replied,
"No, I don't bury the dead but I leave their cadavers for one to bury, if that answers your question."
"I dare to say it does. Ok. You're welcome to help as you can. I have the black book with me."
"That's good. We can start when you're ready."

During outreach, Kraven prepared the earth for séances and mystic practices while his new assistant whom this author shall identify as Magic Manx, another equally adept user of magic, searched about for victims. Within not longer than 2 days, he found someone and lured him or her into the outreach. They went about their secret affair for six nights. But soon after that, one man had escaped and eventually warned the university. Since nobody knew Magic Manx, Kraven agreed instantly to keep the man's actions a secret.

When he was finally summoned back to the university, the dean of Kraven's department interrogated Kraven. As promised, Kraven did not mention his partner although the witness could not identify him.  After one hour, the dean warned Kraven not to do such dark deeds again lest he be expelled. Kraven promised, but who would tell whether he kept his promise or not?
A staff of Miskatonic University gets help[ in finding innocent victims for spells from Necronomicon from a strange dude called Magic Manx [by AghoriShaivite, OC]. But the university demands that he stop. Will he? It's rather doubtful.
