To my father
Daddy's favorite…papa's pet…
I wonder that his memories
Are so hard for me to forget.
So clearly in my mind, I see
When I worked beside him in his store;
We shared a joke with his manager.
Ah! Those days stay with me yet!
Daddy's humor, I must say honestly,
Was the wildest among us, and more..
The craziest in our neighborhood.
Nobody could imitate;
But even more than that
His qualities have become my legacy.

This is a poem inspired by C_Allaghash's poem Daddy. It is a true account of my relationship with my father, whose blessings as well as best qualities I have received till today. I love(d) my father more than my mother.
